Joshua Kappel is a founding partner of Vicente LLP, passionate about helping entrepreneurs and visionaries create human-centric and regenerative companies in the cannabis and psychedelic industries. Enthusiastic about policy, Joshua supports advocates in drafting legislation and establishing sustainable frameworks for these emerging fields. He co-authored Colorado’s Proposition 122, the Natural Medicine Health Act, and chaired the campaign for Natural Medicine Colorado. Passed in November 2022 with 54% of the vote, this measure provides regulated access to natural psychedelic medicines and decriminalizes their personal and communal use. Joshua also contributed to Colorado’s Amendment 64, the pioneering initiative to legalize cannabis for adults, among other key measures.
